Sorority Sisters Gifts seeks to connect visitors to unique sorority gifts and ideas for hand made sorority gifts that you can make for little or big sisters. I recently came across this vintage Beta Sigma Phi magazine that is really a treasure. This sorority magazine sold on eBay for about $5 this week. I am just impressed by the beauty of the magazine cover that has such a different look than today's magazines. I also think that an old book or magazine published by a sorority is a worthy collectible and also would make a very special gift.
In the picture below, there are suggestions for Christmas gifts. Notice the lovely cigarette case from back in the day before it was known that smoking is hazardous to your health!
The way to find jewels like this is to check auction listings regularly. We have a link for most sororities on our site that shows you the weekly listings for your sorority on eBay. Of course, sometimes you will only see the same old things listed like tee shirts and manufactured gifts; but occasionally, you'll come across something very special like this magazine that is unique and fairly inexpensive. Don't forget to look and see what is available today.

If embroidery or cross stitch is your thing, or if you have a grandmother or mother that loves needlework, these designs make a classy gift to celebrate your affiliation.
This art work can't be finished in a day, so if you want to have a great gift finished in time for Christmas, now is a great time to start stitching. These Counted Cross Stitch Kits come with #14 aida cloth, DMC floss in the colors required, a needle, the chart and a set of instructions for the sorority (or fraternity) coat-of-arms. Each design cloth is approx. 9" x 12" which should make it easy to frame since it is a standard size.
The only image that I have available is for a fraternity cross stitch kit. Sorority cross stitch kits that are also available.
These Greek cross stitch kits come in almost every sorority (and fraternity) so check and see if yours is available.
First on the list are Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Alpha Omicron Pi. Many more sororities are available.

Express yourself! Be creative.....make a scrapbook....make a sorority greeting card for your little sister....make your own sorority gifts.

Some you have asked about the sorority scrapbook cuts. There used to be Gamma Phi Beta scrapbook sets as well as Kappa Delta sets available on ebay. I am hoping that the seller will have more available soon since there are many of you who are waiting for them to become available.
If you send a message to the seller requesting the scrapbook sets for your sorority be made available, perhaps she will fill the need and offer scrapbook sets for more sororities.
Getting a set like this is a great motivator to get you started making a scrapbook this fall, for yourself or as a gift for you lil or big sister.
Sorority Sisters is all about inspiring creativity in hopes that you will make your own sorority gifts. Make up a batch of sorority greeting cards so you will have one handy at anytime there is a need. There is such a wide variety of scrapbook paper that it is easy to find colors and patterns that suit your sorority's image.
Just cut and fold the scrapbooking paper to make it fit into a standard envelope and you have your basic card made!
You can go super simple and only add your sorority letters or you can make a card that is a work of art with your sorority flower or mascot. Paint a design or use stickers or rubber stamps. Remember, you can always print out letters or designs from the computer to incorporate into your sorority card, but in a world of manufactured stuff and perfect letters from fonts, handmade and hand drawn has an irresistible appeal.
The following pictures show some ideas for sorority greeting cards for Kappa Delta and Delta Zeta.

These cards are available this week on ebay for a great price (less that $1.50 for a pack of 8!). The seller is only offering sets for these two sororities at this time, but I hope we will see more sororities available. These cards are cute!!

If you make your own sorority greeting cards, please send us a picture of your creation. We would love to consider posting it on this blog.
